Meppelse on BBB candidate list for House of Representatives

Saskia van der Meer-Hartogh from Meppel is a candidate for the BoerBurgerBeweging (BBB) ​​in the House of Representatives. The party has today presented a list of provisional candidates for the parliamentary elections on 22 November.

Van der Meer-Hartogh is a manager at the Ministry of Economic Affairs and Climate Policy. De Meppelse is also a director at a consultancy firm and has experience as chairman and director at various companies and organizations such as the Rotary Club.

Former CDA member Mona Keijzer is the prime ministerial candidate for the BoerBurgerBeweging (BBB), party leader Caroline van der Plas announced this afternoon. It was also announced that MPs Lilian Helder (PVV), Nicki Pouw-Verweij (JA21) and Derk Jan Eppink (JA21) will immediately transfer to the BBB.

Van der Meer-Hartogh is currently the only Drenthe candidate on the BBB list, more may follow. Herma Hemmen, independent councilor in Ter Apel is also a candidate.

The party wants to announce the rest of the list on September 8, and the members must finalize the list on September 23.
