The Zaanse Menno Vloon was again the best in the pole vault today. He jumped to 5.91 meters and set a championship record. Anouk Vetter (long jump) took the other North Holland gold medal.
Meerkampster Vetter jumped to 6.32 m. That was seven centimeters further than Paulien Hondema (silver) and ten further than Herremans (bronze). That was not the only success for the Amsterdam girl, because she was already second in the 60m hurdles. Stan Nijhuis from Egmond aan den Hoef took silver in the high jump (2.10 m). He jumped eight centimeters lower than Douwe Amels.
Running medals
Tony van Diepen (Alkmaar) took bronze in the 400 meters. Liemarvin Bonevacia won and smashed the indoor record: 45.48 seconds. Jochem Dobber from Santpoord-Zuid was missing in the final, because he did not finish in the top six in the series. Femke Bol took gold in the women’s 400m final. The podium was further formed by Lieke Klaver (Venhuizen) and Lisanne de Witte from Castricum. Klaver qualified for the outdoor World Cup with 51.20 seconds.

Amsterdammer Keitharo Oosterwolde came in second in the men’s 200 meters. He crossed the line after 21.30 seconds. Xavi Joy Mo-Ajok took the gold (21.23). Jurgen Wielart from Haarlem took silver in the 800 meters. Kevin Viezee from Amsterdam came in third. Djoao Lobles from Den Helder appeared to win, but he was disqualified.
