The election of ‘Most Marginal City in Flanders’ is a fun competition on Facebook. On the ‘Empire of Flanders’ page you can vote on which city in Flanders is the most marginal.
Ostend has also been nominated, in addition to Aalst, Dendermonde and Ninove. The fact that Menen is in danger of winning that title again bothers the city council.
