From June 8th to 11th, 2023 the MELT festival will take place in Ferropolis. In addition to musical acts such as Ski Aggu, d4vd, Eliza Rose and many others, there is also a wide range of non-musical programs. For example, Sebastian “El Hotzo” Hotz will read from his debut novel “Mindset”, and upcycling workshops and rave aerobics are also planned. tickets
You can get tickets for the festival from the site, the individual tickets are then sold via “DICE”. You can choose from different categories. The normal weekend ticket costs €210, if you arrive in a group of four you can buy the “4 Friends” ticket, which corresponds to the standard ticket but is €10 cheaper per person. The Weekend Plus ticket, which gives you access to the VIP campsite with its own sanitary facilities, costs €290. Plus ticket holders can also take the shuttle bus to the concert site. If this luxury is not enough for you, you can buy the glamping ticket for the steep price of €700 (or more). This gives you an exclusive suite tent with special advantages. The price varies depending on the size. For ultimate comfort, the MELT festival offers you a chalet for two to four people. Cost point: 1000€.
If you want to take your car with you on the campsite, you have to pay an extra fee of 30€. Day tickets are available for €100.

By car
The campsite will open at 12pm on Thursday 8 June and close at 8pm on Sunday, just in time for the start of the festival. Arrival and departure outside of these times is not possible. You can reach the site by car if you take the Dessau Ost exit on the A9, turn onto the B185 (L131) towards Oranienbaum and in Oranienbaum turn right onto the B107 towards Gräfenhainichen. The festival is then on the B107 between Jüdenberg and Gräfenhainichen. The official festival address is Ferropolisstraße 1, 06773 Gräfenhainichen and can be found on Google Maps.

By public transport
The organizers point out on the website that “more than half of the total CO2 emissions during the MELT Festival” are caused by the arrival and departure of visitors. “If possible, use climate-neutral alternatives such as bus or train or look for rides,” it says. You can reach the festival by train by using the connection to Gräfenhainichen train station. From there there is a bus shuttle that will take you to the festival site. Due to construction work by the DB on the following sections, on the nights of 9./10. June and 10./11. June (each 8:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m.) on disabilities when traveling to and from MELT 2023.
During these periods, travel with the S2 / S8 / RE13 should be avoided due to total closures with rail replacement services. Trains will be running again in Gräfenhainichen for departure on Sunday from 07:00 a.m. “Maximum Trips“ also offers its own buses that will take you directly to the festival from various cities in Germany, Switzerland and the Netherlands.

The forecast for Gräfenhainichen for June 8th to 10th is consistently summery. During the day temperatures of up to 28 degrees Celsius can be expected, at night it cools down to 14 degrees. So far, no rain or even thunderstorms are to be expected.
