Meindert Talma from Noordhorn is not through to the next round of the KRO-NCRV knowledge quiz ‘De slimste mens’.
After the singer-songwriter advanced a round at the expense of Aimee Klein on Thursday, he was no match for presenter and influencer Iris Rulkens in the day finale on Friday.
Talma, introduced by presenter Philip Freriks as the most unknown pop star in the Netherlands, surprised in the 3 – 6 – 9 round even by knowing the meaning of the word ‘apricot’: “To spread apricot jam on something.”
