Coach Frederic Antonetti of the French first division soccer team FC Metz has been suspended for seven games by the league association’s disciplinary committee.
The coach was sent out last weekend when his relegation-threatened team drew 0-0 at champions OSC Lille after a violent argument with host officials. In addition, the first three games after Antonetti’s suspension were suspended on probation because the coach had been sent off for the third time this season.
