Mees de Wit and Myron van Brederode to Norway

With 23 players, AZ left for Norway today, where the return against SK Brann is scheduled for tomorrow. Notable names in Pascal Jansen’s selection are Mees de Wit, Myron van Brederode and Tiago Dantas. The trio returns from injuries and is fit again.

Tomorrow night’s game is of great importance for AZ. After last week’s 1-1 in Alkmaar, Pascal Jansen’s team must win. If that succeeds, AZ will qualify for the group stage of the Conference League. Last year AZ reached the semi-finals of this third European tournament. The English West Ham United was then slightly stronger.

Upon arrival in Bergen, Norway, AZ will train tonight in the stadium of SK Brann. The size of this shelter is comparable to that of the Alkmaarders. The Brannstadion can accommodate just under 17,000,000 football supporters.
