A knee injury, which occurred during the first round, affects the entire final, which began with the Italian 1-0 lead. The Olympic bronze in Tokyo 2020 seemed, in fact, to have the match in hand both from a physical and tactical point of view, unfortunately a hold by the Serbian (2-1) causes a strange movement to the right knee of the italocubano who immediately accuses pain . With great resilience he returns to the mat to complete the match which however takes one direction and three other overturns in a row lead the Serbian to the final result of 8-1. “I’m sorry because I got a good start, but at the first action I immediately felt that something was wrong. Now we will evaluate the extent of the injury, but for sure I will continue to work for the next races.”

As always to God, my family, my coach, Fijlkam, the Army Sports Center and all the people who support me. ”
