Meditation: 10 benefits of this ancient practice

Meditation Rave is inspired by the performance “The meditating mind”

Meditation Rave is inspired by the performance “The meditating mind”, held in Rome in September 2022 at the MAXXI – National Museum of 21st Century Arts.

In practice it is a non-stop day dedicated to contamination between art, spirituality and science.

The heart of the Meditation Rave will be the meditation sessions led by the naturalist biologist Daniel Lumera, who will be joined by artists and guests from the world of science and spirituality.

An internationally known author, Lumera is an expert in wellness sciences and meditation.

He began a journey of research and dissemination thirty years ago. He has introduced meditation practice in schools, hospitals, prisons, businesses and organizations.

Raise the level of awareness

The performance al is inscribed in this line FLA FlavioLucchiniArt Museum, curated by the artistic director and director Felicia Cigorescu.

The Meditation Rave intends to raise people’s level of awareness on the power of collective consciousness, understood as overcoming the individualistic vision of the “I” for the benefit of a unitary dimension based on the “we”.

During practice they will be detected in real time Daniel Lumera’s brain waves through Henesis i technological instrumentsn a moving range from blue to red, making them visible to all participants.

The Meditation Rave will thus be transformed into a collective work of art created by the minds of the public, to which an important social task is entrusted: the awakening of consciences.

At the Meditation Rave we practice from 10am to 7pm

«Meditation is a universal language» explains Daniel Lumera. «It is a language made of silences and listening, which leaves the word to life.

It is understood by peoples, nations, even very different cultures, and brings peace, awareness, compassion, empathy.

We can therefore consider it an artistic expression that unites people”-
