I was in the pub with an old friend recently. We came to the subject of meditation.
She’s currently trying the Beatles guru’s system. She was actually more relaxed now, she said, much more peaceful too.
I never wanted to do anything with meditation, it’s way too boring for me. When I’m in the mood for peace and quiet, I get up very early and take the S-Bahn. I get off in Wilhelmsruh and walk one station along the Wall Trail in the direction of travel. Countless birches grow there, in the morning haze birds chirp and people are rarely seen.
If you will, this is my way of meditating. Because 20 minutes later when you arrive at the Schönholz train station, you really feel relaxed. You can try it out, or you can try, like my friend, with the transcendental method of the Beatles yogi.
Speaking of the Beatles. All you need is love and always stay peaceful. That’s actually the main thing today.
