The Belgian Competition Authority (BMA) is taking action against the drug distributors Febelco and Pharma Belgium-Belmedis because they have made price agreements with each other for years. For that reason, Pharma Belgium-Belmedis has to cough up a total of 29.8 million euros. Febelco avoids a fine because it brought the facts to light. Both companies have announced their involvement.
