The move is said to be part of a deal that will see Philadelphia’s Ben Simmons, Seth Curry, Andre Drummond and two first-round picks in the 2022 and 2027 drafts traded to the Nets. Philadelphia also receives Paul Millsap from the Nets.
“Big Three” are disbanded
The 32-year-old Harden was traded from Houston to the Nets in January 2021 and was supposed to be part of the “Big Three” with Kevin Durant and Kyrie Irving. However, the trio rarely played together, partly because Irving is not vaccinated against the corona virus.
Things aren’t going so well for Brooklyn this season anyway, in eighth place Eastern Conference you run after your own claims. The 76ers are fifth in the East.
