During the repair of a leaking gas pipe at a house on Leliestraat in Drunen, a technician accidentally cut the entire main pipe on Friday. As a result, a lot of gas flowed into the house.
The mechanic then packed up, leaving the resident bewildered with the message that she had to call Enexis.
The fire service ventilated the house, Enexis closed the gas pipeline. Both the fire service and Enexis were appalled at the state of affairs. The resident had found the installer through a Google search. It is unknown which company it is.
And now another installation company has to come before the resident gets gas again. The leak in the house has not yet been repaired.
