Meat box without oven

When food needs to get to the table quickly, it is allowed to straighten.

Chef Ilkka Lääveri knowing that cooking on weekday evenings is sometimes a busy endeavor.

At best, he gets the food ready even a quarter. But, of course, Lääveri admits that he is a professional, so he succeeds in chopping vegetables.

For us amateurs, Lääveri promises quick solutions. One of these is a pasta box without an oven.

– It is an everyday realism that a box of pasta does not always reach the oven before it is eaten. This recipe has a mac and cheese spirit, Lääveri laughs.

The recipe for the pasta box can be found in the just-published Bad Mother Community Cookbook Cooking (Readme, 2022).

The book is the editor and founder of Bad Mother Sari Helinin and Lääver’s joint tribute to domestic food and raw materials.

– There are a lot of vegetables and traditional dishes in the recipes, Lääveri says.

He wanted to create recipes that provide ideas and thoughts.

The doctor reminds you not to follow the recipes exactly: if the pepper is not your favorite, you can replace it with something else.

Pasta box without oven

400 g of pasta

700 g of minced pork and beef

1 leek

1 pot of leaf parsley

150 g grated cheese

50 g butter

salt

black pepper

1. Boil the pasta in salted water according to the instructions on the package.

2. Heat the frying pan to smoke and add the minced meat to the pan. If you have a good pan the oil does not need to be added.

3. Halve the leek and rinse well. Cut the whole leek, including the green part into thin slices. Add the leek to the browned minced meat, season with salt and pepper. Chop the leaf parsley.

4. Drain the pasta through the pan and put it back in the pan. A little boiling water should be left in the pasta and the pasta should be a little stale. Stir in the minced meat, parsley and half the cheese and butter.

5. Season to taste with pepper and salt. Put the rest of the grated cheese on top of the mixture and serve.

Tip!

If you want, you can also use other minced meat or soybean meal, etc.

There is only the imagination as a limit in seasoning.
