ME deployed after VVV – Roda JC match, two ANP supporters stuck
The police arrested two supporters on Saturday evening after the VVV – Roda JC football match after supporters of both clubs tried to “confront each other”. The Mobile Unit (ME) was able to prevent this. A VVV supporter threw fireworks during the clashes, the police reported, and was seriously injured.
According to the police, the fireworks that the person threw exploded right in front of the riot police standing on line. “No one from the police was injured.” The seriously injured supporter was taken to hospital. The match ended in a draw.
