The world champion from Paris Saint-Germain has long been associated with Real Madrid, but according to media reports left a possible change open at a ceremony on Sunday evening.
“It won’t be long now,” the 23-year-old world champion said of his decision, according to a report in the French newspaper “L’Équipe”. Accordingly, Mbappé wants to reveal the secret of his future long before the French national team meets on May 28, which has been speculated about for weeks, as he said at the ceremony as the best player of the season in French Ligue 1 on Sunday evening.
The sports newspaper “Marca” from Madrid wrote, however, that the decision in favor of Real Madrid had long been made. His mother described the Spanish club as “the first option”. At the same time, however, there were also rumors about an extension at the French capital club.
