It was already known that Noussair Mazraoui would make the switch from Ajax to Bayern Munich and now the contract has also been signed. The right back has signed a four-year contract with the reigning champions of Germany.
“I want to take big trophies here. Not only the league title, but also the Champions League. That is the reason I signed with Bayern,” said 24-year-old Mazraoui in a first reaction after signing the contracts. “After the first conversation with the club management, I had a fantastic feeling and that feeling has never gone away. I’m happy to be here.”
Mazraoui became part of Ajax’s youth academy in 2006. The twelve-time Moroccan international made his debut on February 4, 2018 against NAC Breda. He played 25 games in this championship year, scoring five goals and providing two assists. Mazraoui played a total of 136 games in the main squad of the team from Amsterdam and won the national title three times and the KNVB Cup twice.
