Mazda RX-7: Extreme tuning turns it into an F40

Extreme processing turns the Mazda Rx-7 into a Ferrari F40. Only in appearance, of course

The Ferrari charm is impossible to replicate. Although this consideration is more than confirmed, there have been (and will be) numerous attempts to copy, often in a bizarre way, the icons of the pony brand. The latter case requires a trip to Japan, where a tuning proposal has transformed a Mazda Rx-7 into a Ferrari F40. Only in appearance: the Italian twin-turbo V8 did not replace the Japanese Wankel engine. If you are interested, the car is for sale. at a price of just over 25 thousand euros.

Only aesthetics

The work, while certainly bizarre, was done with good skill. The front area has been entirely replaced with elements that faithfully replicate the appearance of the F40. Even the Naca sockets have been placed in the right place. Walking along the side you can see how the alloy wheels are similar to those fitted as standard on the iconic Ferrari, while the gloss black color for the bodywork is unlikely on this car. The rear has been profoundly modified compared to the Rx-7 by introducing the wing and the bonnet very similar to what was foreseen by the Maranello technicians. Of course, as already mentioned, the biggest difference is related to the engine, because the twin-turbo V8 is definitely impossible to replicate.
