Tonight’s final of the play-offs between Hovocubo – FC Eindhoven is cancelled. This decision has been made by mayor Jan Nieuwenburg. At the moment it is unclear what will happen next.
The run-up to this first final match was already very noisy. The deciding game in the semi-final between Hovocubo and Tigers Roermond was halted and the KNVB then decided to play the remainder of the game at the Campus in Zeist. That meant another 5.36 minutes and a lead of 2-0 for the futsal club from Hoorn. Opponent Tigers Roermond did not like this. The Limburgers were not pleased with the course of events and wanted to explain this at a later time.
