Maxime Meiland deliberately chose to announce her biography in Humberto Tan’s talk show and not in Eva Jinek’s. “Erica sewed it with her book.”
After her parents Martien and Erica, Maxime Meiland now also has her own biography. The reality star announced the book on Humberto Tan’s talk show on Sunday evening. She shocked viewers with the revelation that she has been abused in the past. For such a personal story you naturally choose very consciously where you sit.
Hypocritical dude
It is no surprise that Maxime and Erica turned up together at Humberto’s and not at their sex partner Eva Jinek. A year and a half ago, Erica was really taken aback at Eva’s talk show table. The reality star was tackled there because of her Islam-critical statements, both by fellow guest Chantal Janzen and Eva herself.
After the broadcast, Chantal was called a ‘hypocritical rascal’ by the biographer of the Meilandjes, Jan Dijkgraaf. And Erica fully agreed: “I always thought she was very nice, funny and beautiful, but she was full of stupid comments. She had not delved into the subject, spouted nonsense, just to be good.”
Consciously to Humberto
Now, a year and a half later, the Meilandjes have chosen to pass Eva and go to Humberto. “I advised Maxime to sit with Humberto,” reveals family biographer Jan Dijkgraaf.
Jan can imagine that Humberto is not exactly a fan of his columns, but: “I know him as an honest interviewer who, thanks to the format, gives his guests time to finish their sentences.”
Jinek blacklisted?
Does that mean that Jinek is on the blacklist? “As far as I’m concerned, yes. Erica sewed it with her book. Not by asking critical questions, because that’s fine. But by acting bewildered at Erica’s statements and especially because she suddenly called in that horrible Chantal Janzen to take Erica with the two of us in the fuss sandwich.”
He concludes: “Fortunately, Maxime listened to my advice. And agreed with me afterwards that Humberto and his editor treated her very respectfully during a mentally difficult TV performance.”
Maxim’s book
Maxime’s book is already too to book:
