Máxima chose one of her favorite labels. She has had the dress in her closet for a while, because she also wore it when she paid a regional visit to Salland in 2021. At the time, she wore the same red-brown hat as she does today in Zeeland. That’s what it looked like.
Two separate items
We are now talking about a dress, but actually the skirt and the top are probably two separate items. Natan’s site shows that the top can also be exchanged for other tops.
Four Freedom Awards
The three Oranges visited the Nieuwe Kerk in Middelburg for the award ceremony. The Four Freedom Awards are presented annually to individuals and organizations committed to the ideals of President Franklin Delano Roosevelt: freedom of speech, freedom of religion, freedom from want, and freedom from fear.
Ties with the Oranjes
The Roosevelts are originally from the Netherlands and have had deep ties to the Oranges for generations. In 1982 the first edition took place and Juliana won one of the awards.
Queen Máxima has her own style. She therefore does not adhere to all the dress etiquettes that she is prescribed:
