It is sad news that the British band Faithless shared with their fans on Christmas Eve: Founding member and singer Maxi Jazz died at the age of 65.
The band announced
Not much is known about the circumstances of the musician’s unexpected death – but the band announced at least one fact in their official statement. It says that Maxi Jazz died peacefully in his sleep. “We are heartbroken that Maxi Jazz passed away peacefully in his sleep last night. He was a man who changed our lives in so many ways. He gave our music a real meaning and a message. He was a lovely person who had time for everyone and a wisdom that was both profound and accessible.

His bandmate Sister Bliss also explains that Maxi Jazz died peacefully in his sleep. The exact cause of death has not yet been officially announced – nothing was known about a possible illness of the musician.
