Max Verstappen never gets tired of winning.
The Dutchman started from the pole and didn’t give anyone a chance to threaten his number one status. Checkered flag difference to second place to Lewis Hamilton was well over five seconds.
The hardest battle of the competition was fought among friends by Lando Norris and Carlos Sainz between. The Spaniard was traveling on soft tires, which is why his sprint pace faded towards the end.
Ferrari’s tactic was to use Sainz as the third driver in the race Charles Leclerc as a buffer.
For Finns, the sprint was a huge disappointment. Valtteri Bottas the race was completely healthy, because he dropped to second last right at the start.
When only the World Championship points are awarded to the first eight, Bottas had nothing to do with them. In the end, he was 16th in the race.
Bottas is now focusing all his energy on Sunday’s GP, because after all, points are offered to the top ten.
