It’s an eventful autumn for Max Raabe. On October 14th he released his new album “Who’s in a bad mood here?”. For the fourth season of the series “Babylon Berlin”, which has just started, he delivered the title song “Ein Tag Wie Gold”. And in between, the singer also found time to perform his feature part in the 2020 Felix Kummer song “Der Rest meines Lebens” live with the Kraftklub singer in Berlin’s Wuhlheide.

ROLLING STONE reported to Raabe in the video interview that he himself is mostly “quite relaxed” – except when there is no coffee in the morning. He talks about the zebra with which he poses on the album cover and in the video for the single “Summer” and who works “full-time as a zebra”. And that he finally no longer has to justify himself in interviews as to why he hasn’t appeared in “Babylon Berlin” yet. He also talks about the collective songwriting process with comrades-in-arms like Achim Hagemann.
