Ex-national player Max Kruse made his debut after his surprising move to second division soccer club SC Paderborn.
The 35-year-old played in the second half of the friendly against regional league club Wuppertaler SV. His new team won the game 2-1 (1-1).
However, the striker was denied a goal on his debut.
