Mattie and Wietze together again
It is special that radio DJs Mattie Valk and Wietze de Jager are reuniting for this campaign. The paths of these two parted a few years ago with a big fight, but for Radio555 they make up. You can hear them together on Radio 538 from 8 a.m. to 10 a.m.
Together in action for Ukraine
Together in action for Ukraine can be seen on NPO 1, RTL 4 and SBS6 from 8.30 pm to 11 pm. In addition to Wendy van Dijk, various celebrities are committed to the action, including Chantal Janzen, Rob Kemps, Jeroen Pauw, Eva Jinek, Britt Dekker, Dionne Stax and Hila Noorzai. And in addition to Radio 538, there is also a special broadcast of Radio555 on NPO Radio 2, NPO 3FM, NPO Radio 5, Qmusic, 100%NL, Radio10, Radio Veronica, SLAM! and Sublime. Misunderstanding about Wendy van Dijk
Earlier reports about Wendy’s role in this action have been heavily criticized. According to Talpa and Giro555, the fact that Wendy van Dijk would be standing at the Polish-Ukrainian border during the action to report live on the situation there is a misunderstanding. Talpa now declares that Wendy will not be standing at the border: “The exact interpretation of Wendy’s role during the Giro555 action has yet to be determined. In the hectic pace of setting up this TV campaign, the misunderstanding has arisen about local reporting, there is no such thing. Due to the circumstances and current events, everything remains subject to change until the last minute.”
