After a period of incessant applause, Matthijs van Nieuwkerk and Rob Kemps have to deal with more and more criticism. For example, they are now hanging out with Story boss Guido den Aantrekker.
The French adventure of Matthijs van Nieuwkerk and Rob Kemps in the Chansons program! knows a lot of fans, but not everyone is charmed by the gentlemen and their mutual manners. At Story editor-in-chief Guido den Aantrekker they are even starting to get really upset.
‘Unbearable!’
Guido has seen enough of the gentlemen by now. “Rob Kemps who looks adoringly at Matthijs van Nieuwkerk (with sleeping hair), kisses his hand, constantly touches him, the milked manners – it becomes unbearable,” he says.
Aviation journalist Arnold Burlage then: “Where would Mathijs have learned that special walk…??”
Guido: “The Lucky Luke academy ?.”
Misconduct
There have been rumors for some time that a revealing article about Matthijs’ alleged misconduct is coming. That is already having an effect on the way people look at him.
For example, a follower of Guido says: “Also because of the information about Matthijs’ misbehavior behind the scenes at DWDD, I can no longer look at the man properly. So that ideal son-in-law behavior was all theater.”
One Wouter: “Matthijs is a really nasty and arrogant person. Experienced a little too often in the city, and confirmed by too many people.”
