Matthias Ginter will leave Borussia Mönchengladbach in the summer. It is not yet known which club he is going to. Allegedly, Inter Milan has made an initial offer.
Inter Milan has apparently put the cards on the table in the poker game for national player Matthias Ginter. According to the Italian sports newspaper “Gazzetta dello Sport”, the Italian champions are offering the central defender of Bundesliga club Borussia Mönchengladbach a four-year contract. Ginter is said to earn up to four million euros net per season.
The 27-year-old announced on Tuesday that he would not extend his expiring contract with the five-time German champions. Ginter can leave Borussia for free in the summer.
Ginter has been playing for Borussia Mönchengladbach since 2017. Since then he has played 165 games for the “Fohlen” and scored ten goals. Until the end of the season, Ginter will try to make the best of the messed up season with Mönchengladbach. After the first half of the season, Gladbach is in 14th place in the table.
