Matthew Fox disappeared from the public eye – now returns to acting

Actor Matthew Fox, 55, is especially remembered for last years’ hit series Lost. Shortly after the end of the series, however, Fox seemed to disappear from the public eye and the last film in which he has been involved was released in 2015 Extincton.

Now Fox is making a return to acting after years of silence. He stars in the thriller series Last Light, which will be released this year. In a recent interview with Variety, Fox tells what the years away from the limelight have contained.

– I spent seven years of my life with my family and focused on things that are my passion, Fox begins.

– Storytelling is in my blood, and this kind of storytelling is something I want to go back to and see how it feels. I’m really glad I did and it’s been fun.

Fox says that at the time of his retirement from the public eye, he had already achieved his biggest goals in the film and television industry.

– After what I did Bone Tomahawk -film in 2014, I had achieved everything on my list.

The actor also wanted to focus on his family. Fox is married Margherita Ronchi with and the couple has two children.

– At that time, our children were at such an age that I felt the need to strengthen my relationship with them. I had been focused on work for some time and my wife Margherita took the responsibility of the family wonderfully, but I felt it was time for me to be at home.

– It felt like I was retired from business patterns, I worked on other creative things that are important to me, such as music and writing.
