The winner’s menu Eleanor included the appetizer Grandpa Umami, rice paper chips, with decomposed “Russian salad”, anchovy concentrate and vin santo, wasabi. The first course was Sacred River, steamed ravioli filled with potatoes flavored with rosemary, marinated trout tartare, grapefruit, dashi broth. The name of the second course was Rebel Skin, a double-cooked and lacquered eel, apricot and bay leaves sauce, celery salad, cucumber, green apple, horseradish and ginger. Finally she had dessert Mochi = Great Lucka mochi filled with coconut and cardamom bavarois with fresh fruit, bubble tea with coffee spheres and matcha tea.

The two episodes of Thursday 29 February Of Masterchef Italy 13 saw the four remaining competitors compete to try to get the chance to compete for the title and present their tasting menu to the judges. In the first episode there was therefore a last one Mystery Box with an amarcord flavor with the ingredients of some tests that had put them in difficulty in one of the previous episodes. The guest of the episode was the chef Andrea Caminada of the Schloss Schauenstein restaurant, with 3 Michelin stars and 19 Gault Millau points, located in the small Swiss municipality of Furstenau. Eleonora won the Mystery Box becoming the first finalist. Antonio, Michela and Sara they faced the‘Invention Test in which they had to redo three dishes from chef Caminada: quail with beetroot which Eleonora assigns to Sara; zander with jalapeno, awarded to Michela; smoked char given by Eleonora to Antonio. Michela and Antonio win the test, Sara has been eliminated for overcooking quail.

The four who reached the final episode were the 45-year-old Michela Morellipersonal trainer from Appiano sulla strada del vino (Bolzano), married with three children; Sara Bellinzonaa 24-year-old employee from Montalto Pavese in the province of Pavia, a girl who entered full of insecurities that she managed to overcome with the strength of passion and dedication; Eleonora Riso27 years old from Livorno but a waitress in Florence, an exuberant and sometimes over the top girl, with always original reactions and comments; Antonio Mazzola28 year old born in Palermo but since he was 19 he has lived in Munich where he works and has built a family, he is married and recently had a little girl, he took part in Masterchef to change his life and return to Italy.
