Masterclass, a fairytale departure
Tonight for the lucky 20 admitted to the Masterclass will be a fairytale start, in the true sense of the term. The Mystery Box with which they will have to deal, in fact, is inspired by fairy tales. Inside someone will find the crumbs of Tom Thumbothers the legumes of Jack and the Beanstalk and still others the pumpkin of Cinderella or the wild boar liver that the hunter brings to the Queen in place of that of snow-white. However, everyone will have to transform the available ingredients into a dish that can convince the three judges, Bruno Barbieri, Antonino Cannavacciuolo and Giorgio Locatelli, undisputed protagonists of the talent show. Guest of the episode is Marie Robertchef at the one-Michelin-star Café Suisse di Bex in the Canton of Vaud in Switzerland.
Masterchef Italia, from fairy tales to the Royal Palace… of Monza
After the appointment with the Mystery Box, for the competitors it will be time for a royal appointment which, in courtyard of the Royal Palace of Monza, will face the first outdoor test. And it is one of those that put the chills because the service will be entirely dedicated to pastry which has always been among the most feared by anyone who sets foot in the kitchens of Masterchef. The Italian Master Pastry Chefs and the Master Bakers of the Milan Bakers Association will judge the baked and spoon desserts.
The Pressure Test
Those who fail to convince the judges will have to wear the black apron and pass under the caudine forks of the most feared moment of Masterchef: the pressure test that determines who will leave the kitchen.
