Master P mourns his late daughter

Master P has to accept a real stroke of fate. As the US rapper announced on Instagram, his daughter Tytyana Miller died at the age of 29. In the post, the 52-year-old asks for privacy: “UOur family is struggling with overwhelming sadness at the loss of my daughter, Tytyana. We respectfully ask for some privacy to allow our family to grieve. We appreciate all of the prayers, love and support.”

How the tragic death came about is not known. However, Master P suggests in his statement that mental illness and substance abuse may have played a role:Mental illness and substance abuse are real issues that we need to talk about without fear.”

Tytyana Miller opened up about her drug problems at the time on the reality TV show Growing Up Hip Hop in 2016. On the show, which is about the children of American hip-hop legends and their upbringing, she revealed that her mother also struggled with search problems. However, Tytyana also spoke on the show about how her father supported her through her problems.

Master P has nine children. Some of them are also in the public eye like their father. Among others, his son Romeo Miller, who released three albums under the pseudonym Lil Romeo. He also commented on his sister’s death on Instagram and wrote: “Life is short. The only bright spot is knowing that she is in a better place now and has finally found her peace and freedom.”

Master P founded the hip hop label in 1990 No Limit Records, on which, among other things, Snoop Dogg released. Master P himself released nine studio albums between 1994 and 2005, of which GHETTO D (1997) and MP DA LAST DON (1998) reached number 1 on the American album charts.
