On Saturday in Äijänsuo, Lukko, who lost to Tappara due to a very questionable cold in the extra time 2–3, was back against the wall in the fifth semi-final game in Tampere: the loss knew the reigning champion at the start of the summer holiday, as Tappara won the series 3–1.

Tappara played a clinical match, took a 4-1 win and went 4-1 to the semi-finals. Thus, the reign of the reigning Finnish champion Luko ended instead of the eighth.

Savinainen started

Lock was able to play with superiority after just two minutes of play. For Tappara, Luko’s superiority did not produce and has not caused any concern at all, because in the spring playoffs, the people of Rauma did not score a single goal from their superiority.

Tappara, on the other hand, scored another superiority goal as the best defender in the SM League Vili Saarijärvi sat for 2 minutes. From the Jokers to Tappara Veli-Matti Savinainen iski Artem Zagidulinin the puck he fought in front of him to Luko’s goal after the opening round had been played at 14.59.

The superiority goal was Tappara’s fourth in the quarterfinals against Luko. Tappara had 11 cases of force majeure.

Special situations thus became the fate of Luko.

In the opening batch, reel control was 53-47 for Luko. Despite puck control, Lukko received only three shots per Tappara goalkeeper Christian Heljankoa.

Puhakka struck

The second installment started with Luko’s superiority, but there was nothing left for generations to say about it either.

However, the first half of the batch was strong for Luko. The game ran for long periods at the end of the home team, but Lukko was unable to break Tappara’s turtle defense.

At the end of the game, Tappara got a grip and scored 2-0 Tyler Morley bait and risen to the finish line Petteri Puhakka fired straight from the feed to read 2-0.

Rivet from Tuulola

The end of the lock season began to seal at 44.40 when Waltteri Merelä played moderately and waited for the defender Joni Tuulolan rise to the attack area.

Tuulola’s shot went from Zagidulinen’s slope and flew over the finish line. Tappara’s 3-0 goal also ended Zagidulin’s match as Luko skated Lassi Lehtinen.

After the middle of the final round, Lukko gained the upper hand, but did not succeed in scoring six against four. At the end of the cool of Tuulola, Lukko continued with six against five, and Andrei Hakulinen managed to make a 3-1 reduction in 52.29.

Lukko switched to Lehtinen’s sixth field player with 4.21 left. A minute later Otto Rauhala finished the blank with a 4-1 hit.
