Angelo Bruschini is dead. The Massive Attack guitarist died at the age of 62. The band announced this via Instagram.
The post, which is accompanied by a black and white photo of Bruschini, says: “Devastated. How lucky we were to share such a life together. Such a brilliant, eccentric talent. It is not possible to measure your contribution. Rest in peace.”
Bruschini recently struggled with lung cancer.
The guitarist joined Massive Attack in the 1990s. Until the end of his life he was part of the British trip-hop group from Bristol. He also played with bands such as The Numbers, Rimshots and The Blue Airplanes.
