Karl’s strawberry farm near Rostock! On Friday evening, around 100 harvest workers got into a brutal fight at the adventure farm, which is so popular with families.

Between 9 p.m. and 10 p.m., i.e. shortly after the doors of the strawberry farm were closed to visitors, the dispute escalated in an employee accommodation. The police had to move in and end the fight between the brawlers.

“A larger group of Ukrainian employees got into arguments with a group of Romanians. In the course of these disputes, three Romanian citizens grabbed dangerous objects and attacked the Ukrainians,” said police spokeswoman Sophie Pawelke.

The reason for the brawl was probably a trifle. According to the first assessments of the police officers, it should have been about broken bottles and clean-up work. The situation then escalated to such an extent that violence ensued. Investigators cannot say with certainty what items were used.

In the attack by the Romanians, three people were injured so badly that they had to be treated in a hospital in Rostock. Two of the three suspects were arrested later that evening. You have been arrested.

The criminal police are now investigating, among other things, on suspicion of dangerous bodily harm. Police officers from two cities had to arrive to stop the brawl.
