The Manchester United footballer was released on bail, but would not have adhered to the conditions. Greenwood is then arrested again. Manchester police confirmed this on Saturday.
Manchester United, the top club in the Premier League where Erik ten Hag has been the trainer since this season, made it clear after his first arrest that Greenwood is no longer welcome. The attacker’s contract runs until 2025.
