Mascot sc Heerenveen wins lawsuit and can get back to work

Hendrik Pasveer can get back to work as mascot of sc Heerenveen. ‘Heero’, as Pasveer is called when he wears the mascot suit, was removed from his position because he was alleged to have threatened people. Pasveer, however, filed a lawsuit and won it, reports the Leeuwarder Courant.

Sc Heerenveen must now hire the mascot again and also pay the legal costs.

Pasveer has been working as a maintenance employee at the Abe Lenstra stadium since 2009. He has been a volunteer there for 26 years and has been wearing the suit of mascot ‘Heero’ since 2000.
