Martine van Os and the camping elderly from her popular program We Are Almost attract a striking number of young viewers. “It is the youngest score of the whole week for NPO 1.”
Traditionally, the senior broadcaster MAX delivers many ratings hits and the Martine van Os show We Are Almost is one of them. The program was the big winner last night at half past nine with a nice 1.2 million viewers (28 percent market share) on NPO 1. A surprisingly large part of this concerns young viewers.

Viewing figures expert Tina Nijkamp is quite surprised that Martine’s trip for the elderly is so popular with young people. “Martine van Os is the ratings queen of the day. And striking: the program scores very well with the younger viewer,” she writes on her channel.
How good then? “In the commercial target group 20 to 54 years it scores no less than 18.7 percent. Together with Best Singers and Thinking of Holland, that is the highest and therefore YOUNGEST score of the entire week for NPO 1.”
Smartest and B&B
Only one program attracted even more viewers than Martine at prime time, namely De Slimste Mens with 1.6 million viewers (34 percent) on NPO 2. The top three is completed by B&B Vol Liefde with 872 thousand viewers (19 percent) on RTL. 4. The dating show was hotly debated yesterday for the false behavior of candidate Denise.
The other most watched prime-time titles were SBS 6’s Today Inside (712 thousand viewers), NPO 1’s The Real Life of British Nobility (562 thousand) and SBS 6’s URK! with a guest appearance by Patty Brard (547 thousand).
Not in top 15
Other programs that did not make the top 15 include Nieuwsuur (545 thousand), Shownieuws (468 thousand), Married at First Sight: Match or Mistake (447 thousand), How Is It Going At Your Home (380 thousand) and 112 Today ( 313 thousand).
The Shownieuws Summer Edition scored above average with a score of 213 thousand viewers (6 percent), still not a fat pot.
