The couple’s first child Victoria was born after two years of marriage. However, the birth of a child did not save the couple from their problems. The couple lived in an on-off relationship until the final separation came in 2011.

Aitolehti itself quickly entered into a new relationship. Aitolehti now thinks that maybe he tried to escape from the chaos through his new relationship.

– Maybe it was also a certain kind of uncertainty and fear that I am a mother and I have destroyed everything I have. Every time I looked at Vicke, I thought: “I’ve taken that child’s family away”, Aitolehti recalls.

Eerikäinen says that he didn’t realize at the time that Aitolehti was going through something like that. The host says that he was angered by the fact that another man took everything from him. Eerikäinen’s bitterness was also visible in the TV show that the ex-couple made together shortly after their breakup.

– It was chaotic. I took the position of such a victim. I was, as it were, “abandoned”.

It took Eerikäin about a couple of years to let go of his anger. He tells how he fixed the injury to his ego.

– I worked through it by being single and asking that “am I not wanted”. Then I realized pretty quickly that it takes more than it gives. Time just did its job and I learned to accept that this is just how it went, he says.
