Martin Roy is the new CEO – Dominik Stracke is in charge of marketing and sales

Kunert Fashion GmbH has filled two key positions. On Tuesday, the Immenstadt-based legwear specialist announced that Martin Roy had already taken over the management of the company at the beginning of January. He succeeded Werner Töpfl.

With the 52-year-old, Kunert has gained “an internationally experienced CEO”, according to a statement. Roy last worked as a management consultant with a focus on “leadership, strategy development, change management and digital transformation”. Before that he worked for twenty years at the trade fair organizer Reed Exhibitions “in various management positions”, said the clothing supplier.

New Head of Marketing and Sales

At the same time, the company announced the appointment of Dominik Stracke as Head of Marketing and Sales. The 39-year-old took up his new position on February 1st, explained Kunert. Over the course of his career, Stracke has held various management positions in the sales departments of well-known brands such as Esprit, Basler and Falke. Most recently, he managed sales in the DACH region, which includes Germany, Austria and Switzerland, at the lingerie supplier Calida.

With the two new executives, Kunert intends to continue on his reform course. “The path we took two years ago from a production company to a modern sales and marketing company passed its acid test in the Corona crisis,” emphasized the company. Now it’s time to “go one step further,” added CEO Roy in a statement. “Our course is geared towards growth – that’s what we stand for as the new management team with our expertise and know-how.”

In addition to the “clear positioning” of the Hudson and Kunert brands and progress in the areas of digitization and sustainability, the company is also pursuing new paths in sales: “We no longer want to be just a supplier, but in a partnership at eye level and in an intensive exchange Strengthen the cooperation with our trading partners in order to further develop goods and space management together and in a growth-oriented manner,” explained Stracke.
