A wonderful surprise on Sunday evening for Flora (61) and her husband Martin from Bovensmilde. They won 82,000 euros in the Postcode Lottery: Miljoenenjacht. An emotional Martin accepted the amount of money in Flora’s absence.
Flora works evening shifts in home care and was therefore not at home, Martin from Bovensmilde explained. When presenter Winston Gerschtanowitz asks what he should think of first if he were to make a wish come true, he answers: “I think of family in the Moluccas first.” He accepts the amount with tears in his eyes.

Everyone who plays in the Postcode Lottery with postal code 9421SE (Berberisstraat) shares the same amount. This is a total of eight residents. They win amounts ranging from 7,454 to 14,909 euros, depending on the number of tickets they play with in the Postcode Lottery. When it was announced that the neighbors also won, the atmosphere in the street was frenzied immediately after the live broadcast.
