Martijn Krabbé’s family and the presenter himself have been shocked by terrible news about his health: he has been found to have a form of cancer. The RTL 4 star announced the news this morning via his page Instagramnext to a loving photo with his beloved Deborah Krabbé-Wietzes.

Form of cancer

Martijn is incredibly shocked by the diagnosis. “Dear followers. I have been found to have a form of cancer. That is sad news, but I also see plenty of opportunities to do something with this. There are several treatment options available. This is the most difficult for my family,” said the presenter.

How are things going in the Krabbé house at the moment? “Luckily I can say that they are strong and even talk about it with humor. Cancer is not something to laugh about, but they managed it.”

‘I’m in good shape’

The presenter seems to have high hopes for recovery. “With love you actually conquer everything. So anyway, I’m in a good position. I will get back into the air again when we have recovered from the shock.”

“For now I hope we are left alone a bit. Love, Martijn.”

‘All the best’

Many fellow celebrities react to the news. “Good luck, dear Martijn ❤,” says Nicolette Kluijver, for example.

Britt Dekker: “Good luck❤.”

Humberto Tan: “Get well soon!!!!!”

And Aran Bade: “All the best, dear Martijn, to you and you as a family. ❤️🙏🏻🍀”

RTL responds

It has no influence on Martijn’s current programs. For example, from next week he can be seen with a new season of Buy Without Watching. “Of course we are all shocked by this news. Martijn is positive about it and would like to continue working,” says a press officer from RTL.

“He will take it a bit easier in the coming months and there is plenty of room for that. We find it inspiring how Martijn deals with the situation and ask everyone to respect the peace and privacy that he and his family need.”
