The video shows how Maxime and her new husband Leroy Molkenboer are preparing for the ceremony. Erica Meiland then gives her daughter away to Leroy and at that moment Martien wipes a tear from his face. This is followed by a cake moment, the champagne and wine flow freely and there is a lot of dancing. Maxime wears at least three different white dresses. Two of them could already be seen in photos she shared last night.
Part of the text that was spoken when Maxime and Leroy Molkenboer promised each other eternal loyalty can be heard in the video. ‘You two are beautiful together. You complement each other, are open and direct and that, combined with your two beautiful daughters and a good dose of humor, can only lead to a long and happy marriage.’
Maxime and Leroy gave each other the yes in Oud Poelgeest castle in Oegstgeest. The couple has been together for two years and has a daughter, Vivé, who was born in September 2021. Maxime also has a daughter from a previous relationship, Claire. She was allowed to hand over the rings during the ceremony.
