Princess of Norway Martha Louise betrothed Durek Verrett has been suffering from kidney failure for some time. Due to the illness, he has to undergo dialysis treatment three times a week.
In September, Durek said on Instagram that he needed a new kidney in order to get a transplant.
Durek has now made a new video in which he talks about how important it is to donate organs.
– We have to understand that we have the power to change someone else’s life. Even if you are a donor and die, you can change someone else’s life, says Durek.
At the same time, he says that he is still on dialysis and needs a new kidney.
– I am glad that you have found a donor, one of Durek’s followers rejoices.
– Yes, this is great. I am incredibly grateful, Durek continues, meaning that apparently the donor has been found, although Durek does not say this directly.
Durek has been criticized in the past for his questionable statements regarding health care. According to Durek, the kidney failure is because he is a shaman who brings “dark energies” that cause the kidneys to collapse.
During the corona period, Durek, nicknamed Puoskar, sold a “virus-healing medallion” and he has floated questionable theories about the origin of cancer and other diseases.
Märtha Louise and Durek got engaged in the summer of 2022. A couple of months later, Märtha Louise gave up her official duties at the Norwegian court.
