The plan dates back to February 24th and will be made by the Mars Hand Lens Imager on the board of the Marsrover Curiosity. The camera bevindt zich aan het uiteinde van een van de robotarmen and can zoom in strongly.
Door het strongly zoomed effect lijken de structures op de foto van aanzienlijke grootte, maar schijn bedrigt. In terms of works, the number of entries is not greater than the amount of one eurocent. De vormen zijn overigens minerale formaties, made of sulfates. Zulke formaties are always given from Mars.
Mars rover Curiosity went in 2012 to the rode planeet in the middle also een opvolger: Perseverance. Both robots zijn onbemande voertuigen the task doen op Mars.
