Mhip now very little at the end of the eighth season of Marriage at first sight, and for the three couples – tonight at 9.20pm on Real Time – it starts the “collective” examination of conscience on their respective relationships, and then decide whether to continue the marriage. A decision that the six participants make a long weekend of comparisons.

The chosen location where to sum up is the President hotel in Lignano Sabbiadorowith the three couples settled in modern stilt houses on the Adriatic sea. All the attention is – obviously – directed to creaking wedding of Juanchi and Gianna, the first to arrive and those who, despite the excellent premises during the wedding ceremony, just can’t find the right harmony.

Immediately afterwards Alberto and Sonia arrive, a carefree couple who, barring any twists and turns, will enthusiastically confirm their desire to continue the experiment even away from the cameras. Now very close-knit and increasingly complicit, they involuntarily trigger Gianna’s “gnawing sensation”.aware that the level of intimacy achieved with Juanchi, i.e. equal to zero, contrasts with the passion that can be read in the eyes of Alberto and Sonia.

In the meantime Alessandro arrives and, while waiting for his wife Valentina to arrive from work, praises his wife. And he tells everyone of his joy in having met such a woman. During dinner for six, Gianna tells her adventure companions that not even a kiss took place between her and Juanchi, leaving others speechless. As the sociologist Mario Abis points out, the couples reunion is a also a fundamental moment for receiving good advice – and that’s exactly what both Alberto and Sonia and Alessandro and Valentina try to do with their new friends.
A hope for Juanchi?
Another ritual to be respected during the couples’ reunion is that of look at the images of their respective weddings together. In fact, there is never a shortage of moments of emotion and, more importantly, according to the experts, it is essential for each of them to observe themselves when they were still complete strangers. After the series of photos, males and females spend a few hours apart: both groups try to shake up Juanchi and Gianna’s union.

Alberto and Alessandro in fact suggest to the Venetian boy not to be afraid to take the initiative with Gianna, inviting him not to be blocked by a hypothetical two of spades. Also because it wouldn’t be right to conclude the experiment without having tried to the end. On the other side, Sonia and Valentina advise their friend to clear up the misunderstandings and return to the light-heartedness, clearly visible from the photos seen before, of the wedding day. But the Venetian secretary reiterates her belief that her husband is not at all interested in her and very often pretends in front of her cameras.
After a night of comparisons and discussions, the following morning Gianna has a different light in her eyes and, questioned by her friends, she confides between the giggles that just before Juanchi gave her a “pat” on the butt. And she, very happy, finally feels appreciated as a woman, something that she previously constantly complained about. Will this be enough to make them start from scratch?
