Krösche could work with team manager Jürgen Klopp on Anfield Road and succeed the previous sports director Julian Ward. It has been clear since November 2022 that he will leave the former English record champions. Since then, the search for a new manager has been ongoing.
However, it seems unlikely that Krösche will take over this post. As reported by “Bild” on Monday evening, there is no contact between the 42-year-old ex-professional and Liverpool FC. Krösche feels comfortable with Eintracht Frankfurt and still has a lot planned for the Hessians, they say.
