Markus Gisdol, coach of Yılport Samsunspor, who beat Çaykur Rizespor 3-0 on their home field, made a statement at the post-match press conference.

Gisdol said, “It was a very difficult match. Especially in the first half, both teams were in many scoring positions. After winning the ball in the first half, we could not put it into the game well. After the first half, we talked to the players. We talked about not giving the opponent space in the midfield. Afterwards, we took control of the game. We won the match because we scored the goals. If you want to be a good coach, your team must also be good. I do not put myself first. If there is success, it is a common success for all of us. We can be very strong together with the fans in the matches we play at home. We played well in the last away match, too, but we had trouble scoring goals. “We have experienced it. We literally play with the 12th man in the matches we play at home. This reflects positively on us,” he said.
