Marks & Spencer opens twenty new Jaeger stores

British retailer Marks & Spencer Group Plc is expanding the presence of the group’s own fashion brand Jaeger in its stores.

On Monday, the company announced that it would be opening new spaces for the label in a total of twenty M&S department stores within the coming months. Accordingly, nine of the areas should be set up in October and November and the remaining eleven will follow at the beginning of next year. The new openings will see the retailer increase the number of Jaeger stores in the UK and Ireland to a total of 46.

Marks & Spencer took over the fashion brand Jaeger, founded in 1884, out of bankruptcy in January 2021 for a purchase price of six million British pounds (6.9 million euros). The label was relaunched under the umbrella of the new parent company in October of that year. M&S offers the complete Jaeger range in its online store.
