If anyone so Marko “Bogey” Anttila known for really important paints. The tighter the place, the more likely Anttila will rise to it.

Everyone remembers the playoffs at the 2019 World Cup in Bratislava, where Anttila took on a huge role in leading the World Cup gold in Finland. His contribution to Russia in the Beijing Olympics was not small either.

Now Anttila took Ilves’ backpack and led his team to a 3-0 victory over TPS. The defeat would have given Ilves a trip to the bronze match.

– We knew we had to improve on previous games. The necessary relaxation was found and now came the result. Big paint and my trademark? Well, but not enough yet, Anttila, who has collected 1 + 1 power points, stated.

“No one was surprised”

Anttila cut Ilves’ shockingly long goal-free tube while playing in the draws. Ilves had time to play 251 minutes and 15 seconds without scoring a goal against TPS evenly until Anttila succeeded in the opening round in 15.22.

– Well, that was a long time. We tried to find the way to score and when we succeeded, it freed the game, the defender who scored a 2-0 goal for Ilves Juuso Pulli stated.

Anttila got the puck behind TPS’s goal and shot from a small angle Andrei Karejevin from 1 to 0. The goal was Anttila’s first in the playoffs in the spring and was the winning goal of the match.

– It’s been painful because I want to paint. Now there were places for more hits, Anttila said.

– No one was surprised that “Mörkö” just scored that goal. It tends to make those big goals, Pulli laughed.

The story continues after the picture.

“Not very much in the world”

Pulli played in the Slovenian HK Olimpija in Ljubljana last season and in the early season at the Mestis IPK. Now he wants to play in the Finnish championship against Tappara.

However, it will claim two wins in the next two games, as TPS leads the semi-finals with 3-2 and will be able to play in front of his home crowd on Saturday, where Ilves has not scored a goal (0-6 and 0-3 losses).

– Each game has its own story. We need to find ways to score in Turku as well and hope that this mood will continue, Pulli said.

For Bull, Friday’s goal was the first power point in the spring playoffs. The shot from the blue line sank into Karejev’s glove side.

– The puck came from the sidelines and I had time to watch the TPS player meet. The bet went past and in appropriately. Not a very big bet in the world but enough, Pulli said.

“Must improve”

The lynx still has a big mountain to climb. The first step would be to score even one goal in Turku.

– It has been really hard to win in Turku, so we still need to improve our play. You have to be brave and confident. Turku is not a more wonderful place than any other ice rink, Anttila said.
